This is a review on the Microcon MC2 Racing Wheel and Pedals for the Xbox 360 using primarily F1 2010 but used with Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit and Forza 3. The wheel was bought from Game for £44.99 but can also be bought from Argos for £34.99. Demonstration of a microcontroller and shifter I built to function as a six speed shifter for the Xbox 360 steering wheel. Since the xbox steering wheel doesnt use a standard shifter and only understands sequential up and down shifts I programmed the controller to keep track of which gear is selected and what the previously selected gear was. It then sends the appropriate number of down or upshifts to reach the gear it needs. Please forgive the wirirng its still a work in progress....
