Ron from r3set here and I got an 360 Elite the other day along with a chatpad. From the moment I mated the controller and chatpad together I hated the look. The white doesnt go with nice black of the Elite controller. So heres my remedy to paint it a close to matching flat black with a red keypad grill. Hope you all find it useful. Game on! Hey, this is a XBOX360 chatpad, flashed with a custom firmware to offer a PS/2 keyboard output. This output is connected to a PS/2 - USB converter then. The result is a PlugnPlay mini USB keyboard. The firmware is based on Jeans chatpad replacement firmware. On the hardware side u just have to cut one trace, add two resistors and solder some wires. I have not done the case yet.
