Taito Legends 2 is the second compilation of Taito arcade games for Europe and North America, it was released on PS2, Xbox and PC, it consists of 39 games, it is huge for this kind of compilation, also, many games inside were also ported on Saturn and Playstation at their times, its an interesting deal, but some games are exclusives on each versions, for example, Rayforce is only on Xbox/PC version, too bad, it could be great with Raystrom on PS2 version....
In the game, the player guides the little witch Ptolemy through a series of single screen levels, the goal being to eliminate all enemies and proceed to the next level. Ptolemys main weapon is her magic attack, which can turn enemies into cakes for a short while. While in a caked form, the enemies can be either be destroyed by further magic attacks or by being dropped off a platform, possibly squashing other enemies below. Another colorful puzzle game by Taito. This time its a mix between Puzzle Bobble and Space Invaders. Rows of coloured balloons advance down the screen, and the player must shoot their own balloons at them. When three balloons of the same colour match up, they disappear. Theres also special balloons, which can stop time, or burst several balloons at once. Great puzzle game....
Me playing Frontline from the Taito Arcade Legends 2 collection. Youre an unnamed soldier whos goal is to destroy the enemy fort. On your way you encounter various enemies and obstacles such as soldiers, tanks, falling rocks or landmines. You only have your gun and an unlimted amount of grenades to defend yourself.
