Released in 1997, this FPS set in the star wars universe gave the star wars fan everything he/she could ask for bar perhaps decent lightsaber combat (that would come with the subsequent iteration). With a story that was long and drawn out and levels to match, you may question whether some of it was just filler but despite that it ticked all the right boxes. Well, I couldnt wait to play this game back in 2002 (not something I say about many games) and the anticipation was actually deserved. It surpassed my expectations in graphical terms, in control and ease of use over lightsaber combat and force powers. With a decent story, decent voice acting and a good variety of levels this game still feels like a Dark Forces game only BETTER. Thats no easy thing to do and I thoroughly hope they continue this great series in the future....
