An easy recommend for those who want a game they can make progress in when tight on time or the casual gamer. Its bright, gorgeous to look at, accessible, has a well suited soundtrack and decent interface and control system - the only downside is that after the first 10 or so hours it may appear to lack some depth. Having said that, for a sandbox game its got a good variety of things (even if they arent overly complicated) moreso than a lot of other games that claim that label. Overall, good fun without a hint of frustration...

Me duelling Henry Morgan. I got the best sword, fencing shirt, armor and a brace of pistols. This is for showing the fight only and normally I would wait till he is twice as rich atleast. And besides its not much of a duel if I wipe out his crew with grape shots but that would be my normal tactic (to spare my own crew). I think about the ranked pirates as a sort of tax payers. At some time they are all gonna give me 10% of their treasure. Thats why I dont kill any of them until their combined loot is around 2.000.000 = 200.0...
