A hidden feature in Soul Cailbur that is not well known about is the ability to play the game with the fishing controller, by swinging it about Wii style. The controls are by no means 1:1 accurate, but the direction you swing does translate into the game, and you can set up the controls so that spinning the reel will make our character spin their weapon. Yesterday my freind showed me that the dreamcast had motion controlls. You could use the fishing rod and swing it and it would copy your moves. if you spun it ur charecter would spin. If you swiped it your character would swipe. The reel on the rod doesnt do anything. It seems like thats what is causing the action, but its not. the rod has built in motion detection. i thought it was interesting....
