I tried several times to try and turn my PS3 on but it didnt work. Im hoping to get an Xbox 360 very soon because all my friends have one. Its cheaper to and more worth it than an Xbox because there is more games and it costs less money. If this happens to you and want it fixed you can call Sony for a coffin to put the PS3 in it and send it back for a refurbished one. According to Sony a flashing red light is a overheated power supply/system problem and not a HDD. Sony - (EU) Number: 08705998877 . I was informed that i only get my ONLINE data because its on a server but i lose all the data on the HDD.This Happened to my PS3 60GB model with an External Fan and a stand, it was 2 years old with expired gurantee meaning i payed £145 for a Refurbished PS3. Tips: keep clean - Take Game out at all costs!! - and if you do then Call Sony and hopefully u will be sent a free fixed one (or £145)....
