Up till now I have managed to finish 4 normal levels and 2 abyss levels completely without any upgrades at all. Now I have the most powerful weapon in the game, the maximum number of minions to control, a health regenerating armor and on top of all that I have an unlimited supply of the best gear in the game for my minions (Bobs reward, Abyss levels and the rest of the main game areas all give the best gear). You know, I am starting to believe the game might not prove to be so problematic anymore......
Its basically the Wizard bossfight, but since its just the old Overlord in Wizards clothing who Im forcing into retirement, and since some nut claimed that his gaming experience was ruined completely by the giant spoiler that a Wizard is going to be a boss in the game, I changed the title into Overlord. We capture Jewel. The game works in a weird way here. Jewel is supposed to be afraid of minions and run away whichever way she sees is free of minions, but the game only allows you to capture Jewel if she runs down the wide main path. This ends up looking odd, as she easily runs through 40 minions even though theres an open path next to her.
