This is my First Look Review for Nitrobike on the Nintendo Wii. This is pretty much the spiritual successor to Excitebike 64. Comments on online play: Theres an auto-match system but finding someone to play with can be difficult at certain times. Anyway, its pretty straight forward. Pick a match style (race or elimination), a course, how many laps, and have at it. Lag has not been a problem for me. Just some footage of Nitro Bike. The game is actually a lot of a fun and feels like a further development of Excite Bike 64. Most of the bad reviews blame the game for its alleged bad controls but the truth is, the controls work fine! (Unless you´re a noob like the guy from gametrailers) The game does have its downsides (poor graphics, clipping issues, ...) but it shines at some decisive points like gameplay and sense of speed.
