I was bored and decided to make my own xecuter power supply for the 360 DVD drive. a simple homemade 4-pin molex to 12-pin XBOX360 DVD drive power converter.. all you need is a female 4-pin molex, 4-pin toggle switch, 2-pin toggle switch, 3.3v regulator, a couple of capacitors, and the power connector for a 360 DVD drive. The rest of it is just an old PC power supply and motherboard used for testing. For those who would like a homemade power supply to go with their homemade LiteOn probe, here it is....
Asus M4a785td-v EVO motherboard, 2nd Latest BIOS. CPU fan (Arctic Cooling Freezer Pro Rev 2) stuck between 1900 and 2000 RPM, it was advertised to be maximum of 2500 RPM. It cools well but I want what I paid for. Q-Fan is disabled. When enabled I cant change the 12V voltage, only the 5V voltage up to a maximum of 6V.
