This is in extreme arena mode which has the hardest enemies in the game but this deck works fine in any map but requires some different cards in some maps. For the combo you just need to play Extra Turn every turn. The game has plenty of card drawing and extra action points but you will still screw it up once every 500 games. With it you can beat nearly every map in 0 cost. The reason for the equipment is that it reduces your deck size and makes it more likely you will draw an extra turn.
