Elementary fixes in programming really has a way of showing itself, in a crude way. Rather than trace the pursuit angles back to the root of the problem , which appears to have most defensive players follow the same trace, EAs answer was to invent a hitch step. In a 2 game, 4 patch span,rather than correct pursuit angles to improve game play, just give the appearance of them and tweak the hitching so its less noticeable. Worst of all, If the hitch step was removed and Fabian Washington would run a proper static pursuit angle...
