I tend not to appreciate strategy games, for the simple reason that I suck at them. However, there are a few turn-based ones which rank among my favorite games of all-time, such as the first three installments in the innovative Might & Magic spin-off series Heroes of Might & Magic. HOMMs extremely addictive gameplay mechanics (exploration, turn-based battles & resource management) are remarkably easy to learn, but the campaign missions and stand-alone scenarios can still get very challenging on the higher difficulty settings...

The Barbarian castle is a stronghold of savage raiding armies. Barbarian heroes tend to achieve the highest attack skills in the game. This version of the Song is from Heroes of Might and Magic 2 Gold, a compilation of the original and its expansion, with different music. The Sorceress town in Heroes 2 Gold (Bootleg version?) seems to have a very unfitting fake arabic vibe to the music, supposedly the real version is the same as Price of Loyalty.
