Now heres an oldie for ya, Opposing Force! Not that 1999 was that long ago, but whatever. As you may know, in Half-Life you took on the role of Gordon Freeman who was, during the course of the game, hunted down by the HECU (basically a military group of soldiers). In Opposing Force you get to be a soldier of the HECU tasked to kill Gordon. While this expansion pack (because thats basically what it is) wasnt made by Valve Software, rather by Gearbox, I still think this is one of the finest expansions for any game to come out ...
