Half-Life 2 and its episodes just got an update which entirely broke all the games. This is the PC version, not MAC. Bugs: -Models contorting, twisting, expanding, contracting, and dissapearing. -Skybox missing/glitchy. -Dialogue and animation missing from some scenes. -Floating objects. -Menu Screen expanding and contracting making it nearly impossible to get into game. -HDR and Bloom missing. -NPCs freezing making it impossible to continue with game. After beating the game I searched the ending again to watch because it was awesome. G-Man doesnt walk up to Alex like in the PC version. thats all ;p sorry for the flickering. the camera I used here is really good at adjusting to and creating light for pictures and vids but it goes crazy to the tv ;O...
This is a small example to show how well The Orange Box (Half-life 2 games) run under Wine. This video was shot while running 32-bit Ubuntu Linux 7.10 (Gutsy Gibbon) and Wine 0.9.59.
