It´s time to continue our journey...I chose the Damned-Path instead of the Thief-one. I like this, when you´ll have to choose one and you cannot do them both. Im not sure which one is actually harder to do, but this mission has better artifacts. We´ll have to destroy a wall in this mission and reach Richarville. Damn those Traitors of Bows made lots of damage to my Airships =( Thats why I killed them quickly...Gylven got a new useful spell: Dust of Time and I got Lightning Bow-artifact, so everything is going fine so far ...
The bonus mission begins and this time we play as dwarves :) In this mission you´ll have to use good strategy to survive. And you´ll have to know which gold mines you should capture and which you should ignore etc.. I´ve read that some people consider this the hardest mission of the game. I´ve had many difficulties with this one, and had now also. In this part we waited Dwarnrock who finally arrived, hes good melee-tank hero as you can see =)...
So, the elven campaign Curse of Essentil begins! Sagittel is a great ranged hero in my opinion. And first we met some...Zombies :o I like them because they are not too difficult :) This is pretty simple mission, but you can play this a little stupid way, like I did, grrr =( Sagittel was too far away from the main battle, because I wanted to kill Spectral Warriors. We got some new units in our army too, Airship and Elven Spears..both are great. I also met Gylven and Battle Priest so now we can cast some spells against the dam...
Its the final mission! I like this one very much, it tells a great story. Everyone versus my army. Dwarnrock, Illair and even Teya are against us. So its time to use my best units, best items and...run straight to the battlefield! =) My strategy is close the Portals very soon so the Dragons wont use them. I also want to take these small dwarven armies out, but thats easier said than done, because elves will join the fight also....
I dont use my best army in this mission, because the maximum unit limit is increasing now and I want to have more experience to these 0-level units, to be effective in last missions. We are against dwarves and they can be very hard...This mission is pretty easy, until you get to the final fortress. We took the left (easier) route and Gylven already destroyed the altar..its nice to continue from here :)...
