Given that Dungeon Siege 1 (2002) was a generic and laughably easy action RPG I simply ignored the sequel when it came out three years later. However, DS2 seems to have fixed the worst issues with the first game (ie the gameplay is not on auto-pilot by default anymore), and my brief time with the Dungeon Siege II demo was reasonably entertaining.
