There are good games, and then there are amazing games that came before their own time. Descent is one of those games. Taking FPS shooters to the next level, Descent (originally created by Interplay/Parallax Software) introduced new style of gameplay which they called 360º 3D, meaning, you could go anywhere at any given time in the 3 dimensional environment you were in!
